A stay in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, facing the sea

Saint-Jean-de-Luz benefits from a superb bay, its maritime facade is a jewel because one part is in a cove, another is exposed to the waves. For pleasure port activities, surfing, family swimming and the pleasure of a walk, everything is there.

The **** hotel and the Résidence La Réserve are located high up, to the east of the bay and near the botanical garden. The view and unparalleled, on the sea on one side, the Basque mountains on the other but also, the Basque corniche and its flyschs (unique rock formation). Both establishments are equipped with wifi.

The strong point of the Reserve is its very beautiful heated infinity pool, which seems to flow endlessly into the ocean. Come for a few fathoms, a moment of freshness or rest on one of the sunbeds, in the shade of the parasols. The swimming pool is extended by a grassy area and a wooded park where it is pleasant to walk, always appreciating this unique and exceptional view. Athletes will have taken care to play a game of ping-pong or tennis before coming to relax in the pool or after a swimming session.

The hotel, which is open from March to November, has about forty rooms and suites, of different standings. Comfortable, well-equipped ( air-conditioned), bright, the Standard, Tradition, Club, Privilege and Family rooms (up to 4 people, bathroom and shower + 2 toilets) offer a view either of the park or of the ocean. The Privilege and Tradition ranges have a private terrace. The 4 Suites of 45m2 are organized into a double bedroom, a living room, a terrace with a view between the ocean and the park, a bathroom and/or a shower room and two toilets. The Suites are ideal for families or couples who wish to benefit from space and autonomy (independent and direct entrances).

La Réserve offers you a moment of well-being with the reservation of a treatment or a massage in its Patio, where products from the Institut Esthederm prepare your skin for the sun, soothe it and moisturize it.

The Residence La Réserve**** (in 2023, it will be open from July) will appeal to those who wish to rent a studio or an apartment in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, to be independent during their holidays while benefiting from the services of a 4 star hotel. Around forty air-conditioned apartments and studios are available, for 2 to 6 people, some with a private terrace. The accommodations are equipped with kitchenettes with everything you need to have a simple meal, warm up and settle down: microwave, induction hob, coffee maker, kettle, fridge and small dishwasher.

La Réserve is part of the French Floirat Hotel Group, which has specialized in luxury hotels and restaurants for over 55 years. Several prestigious establishments are part of the Floirat group, such as Byblos in Saint-Tropez, Les Manoirs de Tourgéville near Deauville.

La Réserve invites you to immerse yourself in Basque flavors through its high quality catering areas. The Restaurant Ilura is a gastronomic establishment. Chef Bastien Soumoulou invites you to revisit the Basque classics and the great dishes that highlight regional products, in a seasonal, inventive and very tasty cuisine. The Chef offers you seasonings and enhancements for these exceptional dishes using herbs, condiments and vegetables from the vegetable garden. In an exceptional setting, on the panoramic terrace with a view overlooking the ocean, you will be perfectly settled to enjoy the elegant dishes and sophisticated flavors that are offered to you. The restaurant is open to guests but also to foodies passing through. Lunch formulas are available as well as a varied choice of à la carte dishes. The very beautiful, bright interior room is comfortable for the off-season periods, the terrace for sunny summer days is a setting that does justice to the deliciousness of the dishes.

Do you like the tapas atmosphere with friends? Come and sit comfortably at the Lounge Bar, here the cocooning spirit prevails. Cocktails, classic and Basque spirits to discover, champagne specialties to sparkle with pleasure, a selection of Gin, aperitifs, beers and strong spirits (Tequila, Vodka, Whiskies, Rum, Eaux de vie), but also soft drinks, teas and coffees, fruit juices… There is something for everyone to accompany with a selection of pastries.
