  We enjoyed a lovely tasting and visit at Domaine Gutizia. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming. We learned about their wines and winemaking in the region. We tried three wines and left with a bottle of each! It was a great stop on our road-trip visiting villages in the Basque countryside. I would recommend that anyone interested in good wine and supporting independent producers drop by when in the area!

  We came to visit the Gutizia estate which offers an educational tour through their vines, for young and old! Cécile, winegrower, presented us with the Irouléguy appellation, its history, its characteristics and its biodiversity. The visit ends with Sébastien, winemaker, tasting their vintages in the heart of the cellar. It was great ! A very good moment of sharing, thank you.

  I was able to test the educational trail with my 6 year old son, it is very well done for young and old. Cécile listens to you and is very professional. You will have a great time in nature and you will discover a small area with character. Good tasting !
