  During my two-day stay at this hotel in room number 16 my experience was unfortunately overshadowed by a malfunctioning AC. Our decision to choose this hotel was driven by the presence of AC, but to our dismay, it failed to work on both days of our stay. Despite repeated complaints, the hotel's response was unsatisfactory. Various attempts were made to rectify the situation, including cleaning the filter and adjusting the temperature from their central control. However, throughout the process, multiple staff members assured us that the AC was functioning properly, despite the clear evidence to the contrary. The AC unit displayed a flashing green light, indicating a problem, and only the fan was operational. There was zero change in Temperature of the room after keeping the AC on for over 3 hours, which we conveyed to the staff explicitly. The staff's attitude was also disappointing, with dismissive comments like "this is cool for us.” In particular, a host named Max exhibited a negative attitude towards our concerns. He offered us a change of room but with the attitude as to challenge us to “see if you consider this AC to be working” . This dismissive behavior continued when we expressed our desire to delay the room change due to prior commitments, which Max met with irritation and said that isn’t possible. On the day of our departure, we shared our dissatisfaction with a courteous and kind lady at the front desk. She acknowledged the AC malfunction – the first instance of acknowledgment – and attempted to compensate by offering us a complimentary brunch. Regrettably, Max's (who was in charge of brunch) conduct during the brunch was marked by exasperation, annoyance, revealing his displeasure with the gesture. Overall, my experience at this hotel was deeply unpleasant due to the ongoing AC issues, compounded by the dismissive and gaslighting behavior of the staff. This treatment tarnished what could have been a more enjoyable stay given leaving me with a negative impression of the establishment.

  Fantastic location and a nice little bar. Breakfast was good value. Friendly staff. Room was a bit tired and air con didn't work very well hence slightly lower rating.

  Was a lovely hotel with a delicious breakfast, great location, and very kind staff. Only thing is that a nightclub nearby is pretty loud on the weekend and the rooms were a bit hot (although of course I'm an American addicted to ac).
