    • Or Maiarko Beach, depending on the spelling you find. A beautiful beach in lush greenery. It is close to campsites, but attendance remains reasonable. At low tide, there are rocks that reveal themselves, it is practical for playing or fishing on foot or swimming in the pools. At high tide, you can surf, the waves are beautiful. The beach is supervised and there is something to eat around. Note that the beach is a bit difficult to access, you have to be quick to get there, prefer other beaches in Saint-Jean-de-Luz if you are not comfortable on the stairs or steep access paths.

    Most diverse beach I've ever been to! At high tide it is a true surfer's paradise and fun to play with the high waves. Perfect for children at low tide with the bay at the front. And nice rocks to look for crabs and fish (at low tide). At the top there are some beach bars where you can get a simple, tasty snack or something to drink. In short, the beach really made our holiday ☀️!

    Super spot pour nager et prendre le soleil. Plage surveillée de 11h à 19h. A marée basse, on a pied très loin. Prévoir des chaussures de mer pour les cailloux. Spot de surf et paddle.

    Au cœur de la nature, magnifique plage. Pour se baigner cela doit être plus compliqué à cause des galets mais en février cela ne nous a pas posé de problème .
