  Great moment with a great pro. The scenery is beautiful, equipment is solid, explanations are clear and Jakes is fun and easy going. Everyone can do it (July) as the waters were not too cold and the rapids were easily manageable! Super moment!

  A really great family experience with Jakes and his team. A fantastic area and lovely scenery rafting down the river. All the family had a great time - challenging and fun at the same time, thanks for to the expertise and jovial attitude of the expert Jakes, who still had our safety as the top priority throughout. We would highly recommend this activity with NCKD. Thank you from Ireland Jakes!

  Our family of 5, (2 adults, 14 year old and 2 12 year olds) had a fantastic time with Jakes on the Discovery Kayak Rafting trip. We were in a group of around 15 people; a mixture of rafts, canoes and kayaks. I was initially worried about opting for the single seater kayaks as we all had limited kayaking experience but Jakes explained everything clearly and with life jackets and helmets it felt very safe. I would recommend the single kayaks as everyone had a sense of their own achievement and gave our older children a sense of independence. Despite having little kayaking experience and not being the fittest person the course was just the right length and challenge. Wetsuits were provided if you wanted and were good option on a cloudy day. Everyone enjoyed themselves! Jakes was a great guide, who gave very clear instructions and spoke good English, but was also caring, attentive and fun! Thank you for a great afternoon.
