    • Taloa, bread from the Basque Country

      It is one of the many emblems of Basque gastronomy. This artisanal corn cake has been the joy of all gourmets for generations. Made with respect for tradition, our taloas are produced on site and by hand every day. For this, we use Basque and organic Arto Gorria corn flour (Grand Roux Basque) and ancient wheat.

      At Taloka, We are militant while working. We source our supplies exclusively through short circuits, with farm products from surrounding farmers and producers.
      Our menu is inspired by modern and traditional cuisine, and evolves with the seasons and arrivals; a true concentrate of the Basque Country!

      Open every day from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Saturday continuously from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.

    Simple and super effective! Interesting combinations of flavors, low prices, fresh and quality products. Quick service by very friendly staff. An address to remember in the center of Bayonne.

    If my grilled mussels were not served twice cold in another place, I would never have come to eat a good taloa here and appreciate the service of the young people behind the bar! Place in the hall to do passing through or as a local (seen The world every weekend and holidays) no need to say it anymore 😁 Looking forward to coming back and watch out for breakage on the sets 🤣
