It is an exceptional historical heritage, very living traditions offered by the Basque Country and particularly Saint Jean Pied de Port and its surroundings.
But it is in Estérencuby, at the foot of the mountains, by the river, alone in a green circus that the Tihista family has warmly welcomed you since the 5th generation in their Hotel-Restaurant "Les Sources de la Nive".
The restaurant, open to all, has 2 rooms with a capacity of 100 people.
The authenticity of the great hall highlights the history of the region, through antique furniture, the rustic being dear to our ancestors in this country. In the plate, it is a family and traditional cuisine, made from local products that you will discover some of our specialties offered in our menus or à la carte: Banca troutelles, hot foie gras with apples, parsley eels, ham piperade, deer or wild boar stew (in season), sheep cheese and its jam, Basque cake... all accompanied by good local wines.
