  I popped into this place after a long pleasant walk along the river from Bayonne. I am a visitor from NZ, a non French speaker (but I am trying my best to pick up small phrases in French and I am always polite saying please and Thank you in French.) The place was quiet as it was nearing the end of lunch service. The service and treatment by one of the staff was awful. I left embarrassed and humiliated. In fact another customer raised her eyebrows at how I had been treated. Unfortunately the lunch offered was very bad. Tasted over cooked and salty ( the veal) the entree wAs also unpleasant and I did not eat it. The dessert was tasty ( chocolate mousse) Overall I do not recommend this place.

  Not tops .we had to wait ages before we got our menus .and longer again before we got drinks .the food was mid warm .not very nice at all .the pudding was great .tasty nicely presented .

  Best find all Holiday, great food and service, just wish it was sign posted from the cycle path by the river as we would have discovered it years ago ! 👍☺
