Discover in the chocolate museum of Cambo-les-bains , adjoining the shop, a retrospective of chocolate factories throughout the Basque Country since the 18th century and particularly in the town of Cambo-les-bains.
Many pieces are presented: old machines for grinding cocoa beans, chocolate stones, old tools, collections of moulds, advertising objects, boxes, chocolate pots, "shaking cups" and "cups with mustache" that arouse curiosity.
After visiting the chocolate museum on the history of chocolate and "know-how" in the Basque Country , take a gourmet world tour to tantalize your taste buds. Discover and savor the flavors of the terroirs, the different cocoa contents and the origin of the beans used. You will also taste specialties such as the ganache with Espelette pepper , the Craquinette, a crispy praline very appreciated by all.
The museum is open for free and open visits from April to October, Monday to Saturday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
