The legendary thalassotherapy center on the Basque coast has had a makeover!

To get a makeover, the establishment closed its doors between fall 2019 and spring 2021, its metamorphosis is simply stunning! Design, equipment, care: everything has been redesigned while respecting the site's Art Deco identity and integrating traditional Basque culture. The contemporary design and the refined decoration with bluish shades are signed by Jean-Philippe Nuel, the architect of the Molitor hotel in Paris and the Cures Marines in Trouville. From the reception, the Zen and intimate atmosphere is immersive. The atmosphere of this decor with refined sobriety is immediately conducive to relaxation.

A cocooning break in the heart of the ocean

Practiced since Antiquity, thalassotherapy uses sea water and more widely the marine environment (seaweed, mud, sand, air and marine climate...) for the benefit of its therapeutic, curative, preventive, or quite simply to pleasure. Heated to 33 °, seawater allows minerals and trace elements to pass through the epidermis to reach the bloodstream and then the various organs. The body relaxes and regenerates itself. The body revitalizes itself. The mind calms down.

The Marine Course: the benefits of seawater

It opens onto a large seawater pool of 300m² heated to 33 °, surrounded by colonnades and decorated with water games with regenerative virtues scattered on both sides: pedijets, massage seats, a waterfall, whirlpools, a " Cobra " and swan neck water slide, aquabeds and an open Jacuzzi on the beach. A rest room is at our disposal to relax between two swims or two treatments, eyes always riveted on the ocean. To perfect this relaxation and detoxify the body, the effect of heat and humidity provide immediate positive effects. In the Finnish spirit, the sauna offers a dry steam bath with a temperature of 80 °. Inspired by oriental tradition, two hammams at different temperatures offer rituals of care and relaxation in a sumptuous decor of marble and mosaic. The cardio-fitness area for getting back into shape

We forget it sometimes, but the heart is a muscle! Like all muscles, it needs to be used regularly to be toned. Facing the ocean, a first independent cardio-fitness area allows you to take advantage of various devices (treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, rowers, steppers, etc.) while a second area is dedicated to group gym and yoga lessons, pilates, Chinese gym...
