- The Elharra farm is located in the heart of the Basque Country in the charming village of Espelette, between the mountains and the ocean, it has 2 cottages which each accommodate 6 people in a quiet setting in the middle of nature, the farm runs along the Laxa stream.
  
  You will discover the region of the Basque Country: Its magnificent landscapes, its gastronomy, its very colorful festivities, its cultural and architectural richness...
  
  As well as life on the farm, calm and peaceful, where you will discover the breeding of dairy cows and the production of Espelette pepper AOC-AOP. We will welcome you and we will make you discover the farm.
  
  An ideal location for making beautiful hikes from the farm or relaxing less than 20 minutes from the sea, 10 minutes from Spain and 10 minutes from the spa town of Cambo-les-Bains.
  
  Our Argitan gite is a single storey gite facing the Mondarrain and the fields of Espelette AOP peppers.
  It has a beautiful terrace with board and a garden with deckchair.
  Inside a large open space with kitchen dining room and living room.
  It has 3 bedrooms with 3 beds of 140cm
  A large bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
  We feel like at home there.
  
  Our Elharra gite is a gite with a balcony ideal for admiring the Espelette mountains.
  Outside you have a terrace with barbecue and deckchair to relax.
  Inside a large kitchen with bar, a dining room and living room.
  It also has a bathroom with shower and separate toilet on the ground floor.
  Upstairs 3 single bedrooms with 140cm bed.
  A bathroom is also present with bath, double sink and separate toilet.

Rented for a couple. Comfortable and clean ARGITAN cottage. On the other hand, the lights in the bedrooms and in the bathroom need to be reviewed. A few basic products would be welcome when holidaymakers arrive, which is always usual in the majority of private rentals (not including household products in abundance in this gîte) otherwise at least think of a carafe of water fresh in the fridge after 750 km of travel would not be a surplus. Please note when booking that there is not only chili pepper growing but that a herd of cows is part of the farm, the stable being a few meters from the cottage and that dozens of flies will be present in permanence inside the apartment, outside during meals on the terrace and in the garden on the deckchairs so that future vacationers know before finalizing or not the rental contract and not waiting for arrival vacationers to inform them of this inconvenience.

Excellent for the holidays. We've been coming for 3 years and we're coming back this summer. Extremely warm welcome. Laurence and Michel are adorable, always ready to make our stay even better. What more. Both houses are top notch with all the comfort one could wish for on vacation. Idyllic, calm setting..... thank you to both of you without forgetting your daughters. See you this summer

Pleasant owners. Beautiful houses. Comfort. Possibility of buying Espelette pepper 🌶 as well as derived products. You can even go see the cows being milked. Very beautiful landscapes. We really enjoyed our stay.
