In the heart of the Basque Country, the BERGARA hotel is the ideal starting point for exploring our beautiful region. Just 2km from Espelette, the kingdom of chili peppers, 8km from the Dancharia border shops and about twenty kilometers from the ocean and its various activities and golf courses (Anglet, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Biarritz).

This establishment, run by the Massonde family for five generations, has aged remarkably well and has always adapted to modern needs without losing its authentic, family-run charm. Bernadette and her daughters, Maika and Mirentxu, will warmly welcome you to one of the 24 comfortable rooms (accommodating 2 to 6 people), decorated with understated elegance. You'll be comfortably settled in for a night or more, a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This two-story Basque-style building features ample private parking, a terrace, and a lush green park. For your comfort, we have created a cozy, heated indoor pool, open from Easter to All Saints' Day, complete with a massage jet bench offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The restaurant offers a variety of options, including à la carte and half-board. A breakfast buffet is served every morning.

Hikers will be delighted by the diversity of the routes, a booklet is available at reception and we will give our tips for exploring the Vulture Cliff or La Rhune!
