    • La Barre Beach is the first beach in the Basque Country, when you arrive from the Landes. It is right in front of Vieux Boucau. It is located at the mouth of the Adour, there are beautiful waves for the pleasure of surfers. Nearby, playgrounds and a skate park, restaurants and cafes, it is a lively place, pleasant as much for strolling as for the beach itself. Swimming is supervised.

    Beautiful beach for surfing, sunbathing, swimming and enjoying the Atlantic Ocean with beautiful sand. Sunset is awesome.

    IT'S CLOSED OFF MOST OF IT BECAUSE OF A DUMB, NOISY, LOUD FAIR THAT TAKES UP ALL OF THE PARKING. Anglet closed ALL OFF THE CAMPER PARKINGS TOO. WHY THEY DO THIS IS A MYSTERY TO ME? NO ONE WHO WANTS TO VISIT THE SKATING RING OR SKATEBOARD FACILITY CAN PARK. LET ALONE ANYONE WHO WANTS TO VISIT THIS 'ATTRACTION'. DOES ANGLET OR BAB REALLY NEEDS THIS????

    Waves are the big attraction here. Crashing in on the rocks. Also a surfing place, if you like that . Beautiful refreshing walks along the promenade
