    • A beach, but above all a surf spot! Competitions take place here, as the waves are beautiful and offer great challenges to experienced surfers. La Barre is a few hundred meters away, for a walk and a glimpse of the Landes just opposite. It is also a family beach, supervised in summer, with nearby car parks and restaurants and cafes to eat. Playgrounds allow children to play and have fun when they are tired of building sandcastles. There is a thalassotherapy center at the foot of the beach.

    Fantastic free beach on the ocean, Gulf of Biscay, in Anglet, 15 minutes from Bayonne where we stayed overnight. The roar of the waves on a windy day draws surfers into joy.

    Beautiful beach. Beautiful environment. However, it is not sand but small stones which hurt your feet extremely. Bring basketball to walk there... dogs allowed, supervised beach and good responsiveness from lifeguard staff.
