Parc écologique Izadia Nature Reserve in Anglet

The Izadia Ecological Park is a protection area for the dune ridge and the lagoon on the Basque coast. Nestled between the coast and the mouth of the Adour , in Anglet, it preserves this specific ecosystem. The park is classified "Natura 2000" . It therefore also has an educational mission to make known the environments it shelters, their fauna and flora. You will learn there what are the specificities of its salt meadows, its coastal lagoon, its marshes and wooded areas… Guided tours will also lead you to the bird and animal observation points that inhabit the park. Family activities and workshops allow you to experience and understand the park in a different way.
