Pagoeta Natural Park Nature Reserve in Orio

Another very beautiful Natural Park, which is designed for family discovery. Many marked paths wind it in all directions. Small villages allow you to take a break, or to start your routes at different places. It is interesting to start by exploring the visitor center in Iturrarán, where you will find information about the park and an exhibition. As you walk, you will come across Dolmens, ancient deposits, caves and domestic fauna (indigenous cows and Pottoka ponies). To complete the nature walk, visit the Agorregi forges, a large complex with 4 mills and everything you need to explain to visitors the transformation of ore into iron. There is also a botanical garden for plant lovers: The Iturrarán Botanical Garden.
