  J’ai acheté ma viande à la boucherie comme d’habitude Plus de 100€ d’achats Et la serveuse de la boucherie m’a offert une belle boîte rouge en cadeau ( habituellement c’est un peu de xostora) Arrivé à la maison j’ouvre la boîte et surprise : une tête d’ail ( normalement boîte avec du fromage écrit sur la boîte) Je suis très déçu par cet événement , certes , ils ne sont pas obligé d’offrir quelque chose quand on dépense beaucoup mais là soit c’est une plaisanterie et elle est de mauvais goût soit le personnel vole les cadeaux et c’est dégoûtant

  As regulars at Venta Peio for about fifteen years, it is with great regret that we write this review today, as we were extremely disappointed with our meal today. From the outset, the experience was unusual: an interminable wait, despite the restaurant being only moderately busy, which makes the situation all the more difficult to understand. We even had to ask for our own glasses and cutlery. Regarding the appetizers, of the three we ordered, two arrived with very small portions, and the third... more than 30 minutes later, and cold to boot. Unfortunately, the main courses did not improve matters. The paella, once succulent and full of flavor, was this time bland and uninteresting. My partner opted for pork spider steaks with mashed potatoes: the portion was simply ridiculous, as the photo clearly shows. My father-in-law, meanwhile, ordered veal liver cooked pink; he had to send the plate back, as the meat was extremely tough—a shoe leather would have been more tender. And to top it all off, dessert… the cherry on top: my daughter ordered chocolate mousse and was served a fruit bowl. Beyond the service issues, it's the taste and atmosphere that are most disappointing. It's truly sad to see such a decline in an establishment we enjoyed for so many years. However, we would like to acknowledge Angel's kindness and professionalism; he really went the extra mile to try and compensate for the numerous shortcomings and did everything he could in what was clearly a difficult situation. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience, and far from the image we had of this restaurant. Next time, we'll go to the competition.
