At Gliss'experience, instruction is based on a solid foundation : all instructors are former Lifeguard Instructors (MNS) from Anglet. This dual expertise makes all the difference. From the age of 7, students don't just paddle; they learn to decipher currents, read weather conditions, and understand sandbanks, tides, and the moon's influence on the environment.

This in-depth knowledge of the marine environment offers complete peace of mind to families and the most adventurous surfers alike. The Cavaliers surf spot is perfectly suited to this. Beginners can enjoy gentler waves sheltered by the breakwater, at the sheltered spot of the small sandbar, while more experienced surfers tackle the long, hollower, and even barreling sections that have made the spot world-renowned. If the Atlantic proves too unpredictable, the surf school will take you free of charge to more exposed sheltered beaches so you never miss a surfing opportunity.

Technical equipment and the "Surf Camp" spirit

For real progress, the choice of equipment is crucial. The school departs from standard models, offering French-made foam boards, hand-shaped in a local workshop. Crafted with the most advanced foams available today, they are custom-shaped and designed to meet your specific needs. Available in various shapes and sizes, they feature real rails that allow for precise carving. This attention to detail —right down to the recycled fabric lycra—is what defines the spirit of the place.

Bonus: their eco-recycled beach hut has received the eco-responsible label. They wanted this site to be welcoming and offer shade, electricity, and fresh water.
