Kanpo is a committed tourism agency, promoting an eco-responsible discovery of the inland and coastal Basque Country, for individuals and companies.

The Kanpo team is a team of tourism professionals, passionate about sport and nature, but also a group of dynamic, inventive and committed partners (guides, accommodation providers, producers, restaurateurs, etc.), with whom we eco-build all activities (experiences, stays, seminars, etc.) with passion and rigor.

As members of the Sustainable Tourism Stakeholders network, winners of the Tourism Trophies 64 in 2022 and the Responsible Engagement Award at the So Event trade show in Bordeaux in 2025, we have strengthened our commitment to sustainability. In contrast to mass tourism, we want to value human connection and offer authentic tourism experiences. Discover the Basque Country in a different way, in its true natural state.

Our micro-adventures

Our stays, internships and day trips These micro-adventures aim to offer a strong (re)connection to nature, to oneself, and to the community. They prove to be unusual, vibrant, and enriching experiences : treks on the GR10 , trail running courses , mountain self-sufficiency courses , afternoons discovering cold baths , and more… All these experiences and many others can be booked privately and adapted to your dates!

Our teambuilding

We create experiential team-building and incentive programs for corporate seminars, with one main objective: to foster the collective intelligence of teams by drawing inspiration from local traditions and rituals . We offer sports and nature activities tailored to individual desires and constraints (guided hikes, cold plunges, breathing exercises, sailing, etc.) and catering that highlights Basque cuisine and local producers, with a focus on plant-based options (adaptable to specific requests).

Our tours are offered in small groups, in all seasons, on temporary circuits away from the main tourist routes, and always accompanied by passionate and experienced local guides. They are designed for a wide audience (visitors as well as locals, with activity levels adapted to different groups), whether traveling solo, with family, or with friends!
