The Ossau-Iraty PDO Interpretation Center welcomes you from Easter to Omiasaindu Day. A visit will give you all the keys to understanding the unique characteristics of the iconic Béarn region and Basque gastronomy: Ossau-Iraty PDO.

A lively place for adults and children

Offer a fun and informative tour. You will discover the breeds of sheep that produce the milk used to make Ossau-Iraty gasna, the richness of the plants they consume, as well as all the stages of gasna production. Finally, a film immerses you in the daily life of the shepherds.
