The Salié house is a beautiful, charming residence in the heart of the Basque Country. We held our wedding there with about 60 guests, and everything was perfect. The venue was a hit with everyone: a large, welcoming, authentic house where the charm of the old and the stone walls are more than enough, requiring no additional decoration. The house is well-equipped for events: a kitchen suitable for caterers, a practical laundry room for storage, a large reception room on the ground floor, a dance floor, and a spacious, cozy mezzanine to fully enjoy the stay. All this in a verdant setting just a stone's throw from the center of the beautiful village of La Bastide-Clairence. The house sleeps 14. It's a bit of a "labyrinthine" house, with many stairs, and that's part of its charm. Finally, Damien is a very welcoming, warm, and always available host. In summary: we had a wonderful time at Maison Salié!

I rented the Salié house for three days to celebrate New Year's Eve and my birthday, and there were 40 of us. The place is simply extraordinary: magnificent, spacious, welcoming, and perfectly suited to accommodate a large group. The house was immaculate upon our arrival, spotlessly clean, which was very much appreciated for a truly relaxing stay. The owners, Caroline and Damien, were available, responsive, and kind, always ready to answer our questions and make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had an unforgettable time in an exceptional setting. A huge thank you for this wonderful experience. I highly recommend this house!
