  Un séjour plein de charme et d’originalité à l’Auberge Ostapé Ce qui fait immédiatement la singularité de cet hôtel cinq étoiles, c’est son concept unique : des chambres disséminées dans de charmantes petites maisons basques autour du restaurant et de la piscine, avec des déplacements en voiturettes de golf. Une expérience à la fois originale et ludique, qui participe pleinement au charme des lieux. Les chambres sont extraordinaires, avec une mention particulière pour la suite vue panoramique, absolument remarquable. L’architecture respecte parfaitement la tradition des maisons basques et s’intègre harmonieusement dans le paysage. Quant à la vue, elle est tout simplement époustouflante — c’est clairement l’un des grands atouts de l’établissement. Le petit déjeuner pris en terrasse est un moment privilégié : face aux collines et à la superbe piscine à débordement en contrebas, dans un cadre apaisant, c’est une expérience vraiment exceptionnelle. Côté restauration, l’ensemble est de très bon niveau. Le dîner gastronomique, récompensé d’une étoile Michelin, offre un service impeccable et des plats particulièrement soignés et savoureux. En revanche, la partie bistronomique est légèrement en retrait, avec un petit bémol sur le service : pour un établissement de ce standing, on pourrait attendre davantage de rigueur et de professionnalisme dans la présentation. Au final, un séjour très agréable, dans un cadre unique et dépaysant. Le niveau de prestation reste globalement élevé, même si, compte tenu du positionnement cinq étoiles et du tarif, certains détails pourraient être encore améliorés.

  From the moment we arrived in the parking lot, to the warm welcome at the restaurant entrance, and finally to the service at our table, it was PERFECT!!! The beautifully presented dishes were excellent in both appearance and flavor!! We had a wonderful time relaxing and discovering new tastes. We will definitely be back.

  Oh my god, what a disappointment!!!! I had heard wonderful things about it, and being the food lovers that my wife and I are, I suggested we organize a lunch there for our wedding anniversary. Everything was arranged in advance, and unfortunately, we had to postpone the lunch initially planned for Saturday to Sunday. Nothing too extraordinary in itself, considering it was for mid-June. I called, and they told me it was all set and that they would send me a confirmation email. It never happened. I sent a message on their fairly active social media; they saw the message but didn't reply. I sent another message, and they asked me to send an email, and FINALLY, they confirmed it was set for Sunday. PERFECT!!!! But three weeks later, they called to tell me that actually, no, it wasn't possible; they had made a mistake with the reservations… excuse me??? They suggested I change the date, which was fine, even though it would partially ruin my planned weekend. I asked for a discount on our visit, and they said they'd have to check with management (which is normal, no problem). They agreed to call me back that evening to see what was going on and set another date! It's been three days and I've still heard nothing. I find this a very strange way to manage customers, don't you think? I've never even been there, and I'm starting to wonder if they even want to host me? I have serious doubts. I hope one day I'll have the chance to fully experience this hostel, but for that to happen, they'll have to get back to me properly! I'm waiting... again!
