Raw nature can be fully appreciated in the Basque Country.
Located 3 kilometers from the Chalets d'Iraty reception area, a natural campsite is available in the heart of the Iraty forest. It is open from June to October.

All the comforts of a natural camping area are offered : 50 pitches, shared sanitary facilities and a space reserved for campsite customers.

Motorhomes wishing to take a break in the Pyrenees are welcomed in two areas equipped with electric charging points for motorhomes and caravans, and a wastewater disposal service is available to them, so that the Basque mountains can be enjoyed in peace and quiet.

The Chalets d'Iraty natural area, located in the heart of the forest, is subject to a formal prohibition : fires may only be lit in designated areas.
Barbecues are available on site.

Convenient services nearby

Located 3 km from the Chalets d'Iraty site, the natural camping area is not isolated and is served by many services.
At the reception of Chalets d'Iraty, books, board games and wooden games can be borrowed.
The goal is for the stay to be spent away from stress, in the heart of the mountains.

A grocery store selling local products is available, allowing customers to discover the gastronomy of the Southwest and particularly the flavors of the Basque Country.

Breads and pastries can also be ordered from the Chalets d'Iraty grocery store (reservations required the day before).
From 8:15 am to 5:30 pm, the door can be pushed open so that happiness may be found.

Finally, at the Chalets d'Iraty restaurant, delicious dishes prepared with local and seasonal produce are served.

Come to the natural campsite

No prior booking is required to come to the Chalets d'Iraty natural area.
Simply present yourself at reception during opening hours (8:15am-12pm / 1:30pm-5:30pm).
A deposit (ID or €50 in cash for foreign nationalities) is required in exchange for a badge allowing access to the natural camping area.
Payment is made at the start.
