1) Visit Bayonne, the capital of Labourd

Bayonne is a very important city in the Basque Country. It is the capital of Labourd, which stretches along the entire Basque coastline. It has been designated a "City of Art and History" because of its rich medieval heritage. It also offers all kinds of leisure activities and water sports. Located on the banks of the Adour River, it is surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes.

2) Stroll through the picturesque villages of the Basque Country

Basque architecture is very distinctive, with its white-fronted houses and half-timbered structures enlivened by the magnificent Basque red. Its small heritage is well preserved, with a multitude of wash houses, chapels, and the discoidal stelae that adorn the cemeteries. These small fishing ports along the coast and the charming villages of the Basque hinterland are steeped in Basque culture and have remained remarkably authentic.
