The Chalets d'Iraty are located at the top of the Basque Mountains, in the Pyrénées-Atlantiques, between 1300 and 1500 meters above sea level, above the village of Larrau.

The Chalets d'Iraty are mountain accommodations with 35 chalets, two lodges for hikers, three hotel rooms and a natural camping area.

Whether you're looking for a family holiday in the Basque Country for hiking or a wellness retreat, the Chalets d'Iraty are perfectly designed to ensure you have a wonderful time.

Family vacation in the mountains

A guarantee of a change of scenery and serenity, the site located in the heart of the Pyrenees is ideal for disconnecting, sharing, and well-being. You'll appreciate amenities such as a restaurant and a shop allowing you to discover local products.

In winter, when there is snow in Iraty, the Chalets d'Iraty also offer equipment rental (snowshoes or sleds).

The rest of the year, the Chalets d'Iraty offer 4-season activities: electric scooters, electric mountain bikes, etc.

But in Iraty, it's also an opportunity to learn more about the surrounding flora and fauna. From July 15th to November 15th, the LPO (Bird Protection League) is offering various workshops to learn more about the birds and birds of prey found in Iraty.

The ONF (National Forestry Office) will also offer you walks in the heart of the beech forest on various themes.
