Animal Park of the Pyrenees Just 1 hour and 30 minutes from Bayonne, experience a day up close with animals

Located in the heart of the mountains, the Pyrenees Animal Park is home to approximately 100 different species and nearly 500 animals spread over 14 hectares of nature.

The park offers optimal living conditions for emblematic species of the Pyrenees (brown bears, wolves, marmots, ibex…), but also for species from all other horizons (red pandas, lemurs, gibbons…).

Moreover, the Pyrenees Animal Park is now one of the largest semi-free-roaming animal parks in Europe. This conservation and protection center works to safeguard endangered species and welcomes numerous births and new species each year. This 2023 season, you can come and meet bat-eared foxes, bush dogs, and splendid colorful birds in the heart of immersive aviaries.

Possibility of sleeping on site in the three ecolodges (bear, black wolves, grey wolves…) or experiencing being a keeper for a day, getting up close to the animals.
