Right in the center of Biarritz , facing the Rocher de la Vierge, the Biarritz Aquarium opens its doors to you for an original discovery of the seabed. About sixty aquariums await you!

You start the visit in front of the aquariums of the Bay of Biscay: jellyfish, octopus, seahorses... Discover the species that inhabit our Atlantic coast! After a dive into the past through collections (cetacean gallery and history of fishing in the Basque Country), you enter the turtle cave for a life-size face-to-face...

Highlight of the visit: at 10.30 a.m. and 5 p.m., every day, on the panoramic terrace, watch the entertainment around the seal meal!

Then find the mangrove and its mangroves as well as a coral reef 11 meters long! Fish with original colors and improbable shapes twirl before your eyes!

The giant 1.5 million liter aquarium where 7 species of sharks, rays, barracudas, Napoleon fish evolve, is a breathtaking spectacle!
To eat, a snack is available from April to October!

New for 2023:

21 additional aquariums (therefore 63 in total) to present very small but original, surprising and magnificent species! Come and admire the boxer crab, the warty antennae, the dancer shrimp, the sea urchins' crampon fish, the zebra pipefish... and many more!
