Hendaye is first of all the story of a river, the Bidassoa, which from the mountains of Navarre flows into the bay of Txingudi, on the shores of this sumptuous bay live together Hendaye, Irun, and Hondarribia, three towns with a maritime vocation, facing the Atlantic while nestling at the foot of Jaizikibel, one of the highest peaks on the Cantabrian coast.
