Located in Navarre, Tudela is a charming city, known for its historical heritage, its gastronomy and its welcoming atmosphere.
The city has a very well preserved historical center, where Arab, Jewish and Christian influences are mixed. It is possible to admire:
- The Cathedral of Saint Mary of Tudela combines different architectural styles.
- The Palace of the Marquis of San Adrián is a Renaissance palace that leaves no one indifferent.
- The Palace of the Marquis of Huarte where baroque decoration is omnipresent.
- Fueros Square is considered the heart of the city.
Nicknamed the “vegetable capital”, the region is renowned for the quality of its market garden produce : artichokes, asparagus, lettuce, etc.
Tudela is a starting point for exploring Navarre. You can go to the Bardenas Reales, a semi-desert park unique in Europe, between Tudela and Carcastillo or the medieval village of Olite.
