The Jappy Gallery Bilbao is Bilbao's first experiential sensory museum. Designed to stimulate the senses, this space invites visitors to feel, play, and rediscover art through light, color, and creativity. It offers an immersive experience, ideal for adults, families, schools, groups, and businesses.

An immersive experience

Each room in the Jappy Gallery is designed to offer a sensory journey : textures, sounds, lighting, and shapes combine to awaken curiosity. The goal is to reconnect with joy, with one's inner child, and to experience art through emotion. The slogan "A JAPPY DAY IS A SMILE DAY" perfectly illustrates this philosophy: a moment of simple and genuine happiness.

Opening hours, accessibility and ticketing

The gallery is located at Mala Estrata, 6, in the Basurto-Zorroza district of Bilbao. It is open:

• Wednesday and Thursday: from 11am to 2pm and from 4pm to 7pm
• Friday: from 11am to 2pm and from 4pm to 9pm
• Saturday: from 10am to 2pm and from 4pm to 9pm
• Sundays and public holidays: from 10am to 3pm

Tickets are available on the website, and it is recommended to book in advance, especially on weekends. Tickets can be presented on a smartphone; printing is not necessary.

Inclusion and accessibility

The Jappy Gallery aims to be inclusive: it provides wheelchair access (two entrances, one with an adapter, the other at ground level). It also encourages the participation of all audiences, whether children, school groups, or people with specific needs.

The gallery offers the organization of personalized events: birthdays, baby showers, corporate events, private celebrations. It provides an original setting for convivial and creative moments, blending art, emotion, and the creation of shared experiences.

Jappy Gallery Bilbao has received several awards: the Coca-Cola 2024 Award for Women Entrepreneurship, the BBK Ekin 2025, and it was a finalist in the Retail Digital Sariak 2025. These recognitions highlight the positive impact of the project, its innovative dimension as well as its social commitment.

Around the gallery, the Basurto-Zorroza district offers an authentic local experience while remaining well-connected to Bilbao's main attractions. After your visit, it's a good idea to head to the city center, stroll around major cultural sites, or explore nearby cafes and green spaces. The proximity to public transportation (metro, tram, train) makes it easy to access Bilbao's museums, shops, and typical restaurants.
