Jappy Gallery Bilbao is Bilbao's first experiential sensory museum. This space is designed to awaken the senses, encourage play, and reconnect with creativity through environments filled with light, color, and emotion. It's a place designed for adults, families, schools, associations, and companies, aiming to offer an immersive and joyful experience.

The rooms at Jappy Gallery invite you to explore textures, sounds, and plays of light, creating a journey where imagination comes alive. The aim is to stimulate curiosity and foster an emotional connection: to rediscover art as an experience, not just as contemplation. The motto “A JAPPY DAY, IS A SMILE DAY” encapsulates this vision: a moment of simple, shared happiness.

Opening hours, accessibility and tickets

The gallery is located at Calle Mala Estrata 6, in the Basurto-Zorroza district of Bilbao. Its opening hours are:

• Wednesday and Thursday: from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 19:00
• Friday: from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00
• Saturday: from 10:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 21:00
• Sundays and public holidays: from 10:00 to 15:00

Tickets can be booked on their website, and it's advisable to do so in advance, especially on weekends. There's no need to print the ticket; simply show it on your mobile device.

Inclusion and accessibility

Jappy Gallery is committed to inclusion: it has accessible entrances for people with reduced mobility (two entrances, one with an adapter and the other at street level). It is designed to welcome diverse audiences, including school groups and people with different abilities.

Jappy Gallery Bilbao has been awarded several prizes: the Coca-Cola 2024 Award for female entrepreneurship, the BBK Ekin 2025, and was a finalist in the Retail Digital Sariak 2025.
