Since 1966 the JO MORAIZ surf school has been teaching surfing on the mythical beach of the Basque Coast in BIARRITZ, the European Capital of Surfing.
With more than 50 years of experience, its instructors will guide you in the water during the whole course and give you advice and assistance to catch a maximum of waves and save precious time.
The school is certified as a French surfing school and offers courses, group and private lessons from 6 to 77 years old, supervised by instructors who hold a state certificate and BPJEPS.
Jo Moraiz Surf School welcomes you from April to November.
Surfing lessons are suitable for beginners as well as for experienced surfers, for children as well as for adults.
The surf school has more than 100 boards adapted and evolving from shortboard 5'10 to longboard 9'2 to follow you in your progression in complete safety.
The surf school also has a wide range of wetsuits for all body types and all seasons.
Jo Moraiz is also a surf lodge with independent apartments for 2 to 4 people for adults. Located near a lake in a quiet and wooded area, they give you access in a few minutes to the beaches and best surf spots.Come and live a unique surfing experience with us!
