  I’ve travelled through this airport a few times now, firstly be prepared to wait and do an ungodly amount of standing around and queueing, as they have about 3 members of staff. Staff are very rude and unfriendly, unhelpful and completely blasé in all cases. I have never known such unhelpful people. Unlike most airports these days where you can leave liquids/electronics in your bag, this airport is very behind the times so will still require you to remove everything, make sure you have it to hand. Depending on the day, they may be very strict on liquid allowances/ what bags these are in/if it’s in a clear bag and if it’s the right size etc etc, but more often than not they don’t seem too bothered (shock) Due to the new systems in place it takes longer to get through passport control, They will have one or maybe two members of staff if you’re lucky, last time I queued for an hour and a half after getting off the plane in a boiling hot corridor in 38 degree heat. There’s no AC anywhere in the airport, and nowhere to go to the toilet while they make you wait an insane amount of time for their slow staff to do their simple job. To combat this issue, they haven’t assigned another staff member, they’ve just added a water dispenser to keep people just on the brink of death during the wait. Cafe looks so mediocre I have never tried it, I would strongly recommend bringing drinks/snacks with you. There is one shop post security which is expensive and not very interesting. There is very limited seating so be prepared to spend a long time sitting on the floor. If your flight is delayed, don’t bother asking any members of staff as they will offer you little to no guidance or information. Just check google/ your airline’s app instead and don’t waste your breath.
