Txu Txu, the unmissable little train of Biarritz that introduces you to the city

Hop aboard an electric train to explore Biarritz and its magnificent coastline lined with beaches ! Comfortably seated in brand new carriages, you will have the pleasure of discovering the history of Biarritz and its main tourist sites through a 30-minute narrated tour.

From the Old Port and the Grande Plage to the Rocher de la Vierge, the lighthouse, and the casino, the route is captivating, punctuated with anecdotes such as the one recounting how the beaches were developed as early as 1825 to accommodate sea bathing enthusiasts. This prestigious era is still felt today with numerous castles and villas that bear witness to the stays of illustrious French and foreign families in the city of Biarritz.

The tour begins on the Grande Plage Ouest at the Casino Esplanade, departing every 45 minutes and every 30 minutes in summer. “Queen of Beaches and Beach of Kings” – that sets the tone for the visit!
