Renting an electric mountain bike in the Basque Country, what a great idea!

Mountain biking is one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the trails of the Basque Country, riding along paths that wind through the mountains, surrounded by postcard- perfect views… It's also a leisure activity that quickly becomes a sport, especially if you're not used to cycling in the mountains. So, to ensure everyone, from age 12 (or at least 1.50m tall), can enjoy it, hop on an electric bike ! In its all-terrain version, this beast is truly impressive: 27.5 or 29-inch wheels, a full-suspension frame for comfortable descents and perfect road holding, and a battery with a range of over 45 km… The electric mountain bike is a delightful machine! Attached to your handlebars, it guides you: getting lost is impossible, you can set off with complete confidence, and you can even plan your breaks, always knowing where you are, when you'll be back, and how much time and distance you have left… It's the perfect option for freedom, while being sure you'll get back without getting lost!

You can start from the Noa Adventure base in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle, which boasts a wealth of trails all around, within a radius of several dozen kilometers. You can also take advantage of a shuttle service : Mickaël will drop you off somewhere worthwhile (trust him!) and pick you up elsewhere. So, if you've been before, you can do a new route or start directly from the top of the mountain (because climbing is still tiring, isn't it?).

Guided electric mountain bike tours, offering advice and a customized route

The ultimate mountain biking experience is to bring along a guide, a qualified instructor who is there to ensure your safety and show you the best route (and perhaps even change it along the way if you wish). They can also share their knowledge of the region : the best viewpoints, the most breathtaking panoramas, the charming villages with their traditional colorful houses, the hidden spots where the pottoks (the wild Basque horses) roam...

Up to 10 people can go together (with 2 instructors), and to ensure everyone's enjoyment: either you come with an existing group and everyone goes together, or you'll be grouped with others of a similar ability.
