  A small, charming, family-run hotel, very comfortable, converted from a 16th-century Basque farmhouse, in the pretty spa town of Cambo-les-Bains, 30 minutes from Biarritz and 20 minutes from Bayonne, and close to all the authentic Basque villages: Espelette, Ainhoa, Sare, Saint Jean Pied de Port...
  
  Comfortable rooms
  Our 15 comfortable and welcoming rooms, each with a different decor, offer a view of the wooded garden or the Pyrenees, some with a terrace.
  For your comfort, all rooms are air-conditioned and equipped with a shower room, television (Canal+ Satellite), telephone, free Wi-Fi access and two of them are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
  
  Their services
  The Gourmet Breakfast at €12, served as a sweet/savory buffet, offers a choice of regional products (fresh and dried fruits, local jams and pastries – Basque cake, fruit cake, Bayonne ham, Ossau-Iraty cheese, dairy products, cereals, artisanal apple juice, eggs, pastries and fresh bread…).
  Enjoy the Basque sunshine from early morning on the sunny or shaded terrace, as you prefer. Open daily from 7:30 am to 10:00 am and from 8:00 am on Sundays!

  - For dining, Cambo-les-Bains offers numerous gourmet restaurants. They will be able to advise you according to your preferences.
  - Half-board or à la carte dinner options are available at the Auberge Tante Ursule, located opposite our hotel.

This charming, intimate hotel is sure to please all travelers, whether on business or vacation. I appreciated the spotless location near the train station, slightly removed from the center of Cambo-les-Bains, in a quiet area with its own secure parking. The room was comfortable, air-conditioned, with very high-quality bedding, a spacious bathroom, and all the little details that demonstrate the importance placed on guest comfort. Special mention goes to the friendliness of the owners and the quality of the varied breakfasts, which featured delicious local ingredients. I will definitely return.

Disappointing experience. Booked through Wonderbox, with breakfast as an option (provided with a quote). Upon arrival, we were told (in an unfriendly tone) that breakfast was ultimately mandatory because "Wonderbox isn't profitable." Upon checkout, there were no questions about our stay: we were simply asked to pay for breakfast and the tourist tax, again without any kindness. Too bad, I could have pointed out that the hot water in the shower takes a long time to arrive, which is a real waste. It's unfortunate, because the room was clean and comfortable. But if you don't want to welcome Wonderbox guests, you might as well unsubscribe from the program. It's a shame, because the point of Wonderbox isn't immediate profitability, but to promote your establishment and encourage guests to return. In our case, unfortunately, we won't be back.
