  We stayed in Room 3 for three nights as part of our 3-week Green Spain road trip, and it was an excellent base for exploring the area. Accommodation in San Sebastián was far too expensive when we booked only about 2½ weeks before our late July trip, so staying here was a fantastic alternative. It’s an easy drive into San Sebastián, there’s free parking, and we also enjoyed crossing the border into Hendaye, France, for some delicious crêpes. The house itself is charming, rustic and full of character. Our room was comfortable, and everything was clean and well looked after. A special thank you to Leyre, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout our stay. We don’t speak Spanish, but communicating through Google Translate worked perfectly. We ended up asking her for several favours, including making lunch reservations at our chosen restaurants every day, and she was always happy to help. Her hospitality really made our stay even more enjoyable. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, great-value base for exploring San Sebastián, the Basque coast and even nearby France.

  We were there at the end of spring 2026. A very cozy and pleasant family establishment. We were on mountain bikes and we were able to clean them without problems. It is a beautiful isolated house, with enough space to park, a garden full of flowers and just 50 meters from entering the town of Irun. But being on a small local road, there is no traffic. You are in a rural setting but a minute's walk from Irun (or 5 minutes by car from the center). A privileged place, a perfect location. The housekeeper is super attentive, very friendly; the rooms are large and spacious, with plenty of light. The breakfast is more than enough. Very good in terms of services and rooms.
