  Lovely campsite next to a river that provided welcome relief during hot days. Plenty of shade available and plots are fairly generous size. There is a central building with a communal fridge and tables and chairs. The owner would gather orders for bread and pastries the night before that you then collect from the bar onsite, loved it! The facilities are a bit tired looking, otherwise a great campsite.

  Very nice setting by a little river. Well kept grounds and friendly staff. We visited during an autumn heatwave and were thankful for the shady pitches and deep valley. Toilet block is clean but dated & I found it very hard to find a good shower temperature (note to owner: thermostatic mixer would save a LOT of wasted water!). No WiFi, although cell coverage here is very good. Pricing is economical though which partly compensates for these shortcomings.

  I arrived on a Monday evening after two long days driving, what a pleasant surprise, green, open, lots of shade and water, great campsite! Friendly and helpful owner, bathrooms are nice and clean, and freshly painted while I was here. The surroundings are beautiful, from coll de la Pierre st Martin, the gateway to Spain, to the valley(s) surrounding the campsite. Nice hikes, lots of flowers including orchids, many birds (of prey), I had fun and stayed 6 nights. The river is a bit cold this time of year, for me at least, the dog loved it! Definitely on my to remember list.
