Perched at an altitude of 650 meters, at the entrance to the authentic village of Larrau, our campsite is your gateway to the unspoiled treasures of the Basque Country. Just 20 minutes from Spain, in the heart of majestic nature, you will be surrounded by the legendary Iraty forest and the breathtaking landscapes of the Sainte-Engrâce valley.

Exceptional nature, an adventure at every step

A key stop on the GR10 long-distance hiking trail, Ixtila is the ideal base camp for hikers. From here, set off to conquer the Pic d'Orhy, experience the thrill of crossing the vertiginous Holzarte footbridge, or explore the immense La Verna cave. Thrill-seekers can try canyoning, caving, or rock climbing, all under the guidance of passionate professionals.

A paradise for sports enthusiasts, in all seasons

In winter, the resort of La Pierre Saint-Martin ( 45 min away) and the Iraty area ( 20 min away) open their slopes for skiing and snowshoeing.
In summer, our mountain roads become the playground of seasoned cyclists : challenge the famous passes of Larrau, Soudet or Bagargui … and let yourself be conquered by breathtaking panoramas.
At the Organbidexka pass, ornithologists witness the spectacular passage of migratory birds every year.
