  In short: a cold-blooded establishment that strictly enforces its rules, but leaves no room for understanding or empathy in the face of a major medical emergency. Positive point: this hotel adheres strictly to the rules. If you are absolutely certain that no unforeseen medical event or serious incident could ever occur in your family, then this establishment might be for you. Here, the regulations are applied with exemplary rigor. Negative point: we had booked a non-refundable stay (2 nights) and organized our entire trip. Unfortunately, 15 days before our stay, my mother suffered a stroke, which rendered her unable to travel. We contacted the hotel immediately to find a reasonable solution: 1. postpone the stay to a later date 2. obtain a credit note to return when she had recovered, 3. a partial refund. All these requests were refused by Clothilde, the Accommodation Manager. The only suggestion was to change the name on the reservation and find someone else to occupy the room ourselves. In such a serious and sudden situation, our priority was obviously my mother's health. We had neither the time nor the energy to look for replacements for our stay. Even though Booking.com helped us contact them, the response was always a cold "No." All the other hotels offered us assistance.
