  Friendly welcome, but the food was tasteless and bland. The starter, a baked egg with shredded chicken, was inedible. The main course, also shredded chicken, had no flavor and the sauce was too runny. The dessert, milk chocolate profiteroles, was tasteless. The dining room was cold and unheated. We had a very unpleasant experience.

  Everything was great! We arrived unexpectedly during the week at lunchtime and were able to eat easily. The owner and the waitress gave us a warm welcome. The homemade dishes are excellent, both the set menu and the à la carte options. The service was quite fast. The owner's advice on what to visit in the area was invaluable. The bill was more than reasonable, and at the end of the meal, we were offered a complimentary drink. Absolutely nothing to complain about. Everything was perfect. My friend from Bayonne will definitely come back, and we certainly will, if we return to the Basque Country. I highly recommend it...
