Welcome to Château de Libarrenx, an exceptional location nestled in the heart of Soule, one of the most authentic provinces of the Basque Country. Located near Mauléon, this unique estate is entirely dedicated to hosting groups for your educational trips, seminars, sports holidays, family events, or weddings.

Set in a 9-hectare wooded park (3 hectares of which are private), bordered by the Le Saison river, the castle offers a preserved natural setting, conducive to relaxation, outdoor activities and the discovery of Basque heritage without even leaving the estate.

Beyond the park, the surrounding area is vast. The château is an ideal starting point for exploring the Iraty, Barétous, and Aspe valleys, which will lead you to summer pastures or ski slopes depending on the season. You can also discover the remarkable sites of the Béarn des Gaves region or the Way of St. James (Camino de Santiago) at Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port.
Whether you are passionate about sports, the environment, Basque culture, medieval heritage or local crafts (espadrilles, Basque cake…), there is something for everyone.
