    • Joanes and Naiara launched in 2022 with a conversion to organic farming and a first vinification.

      Following a career in wine, seasons, and 7 years at the Iroulèguy Cooperative, Joanes took over her mother's vines. For Naiara, it's a reconversion after an artistic course. It takes 3 years to complete: a BPREA in market gardening, a CQP at the Borda Xuria estate, and an additional mention in sommelier.

      They adhere to the Idoki farm charter and defend peasant agriculture.

      They make single-plot wines. Three vintages : two red Egu on packed stoneware and Iluni on ophite then a white Zain on packed stoneware. In 2024, they will offer something new, a natural rosé sparkling wine !

      In their vision, the wine is made in the vineyard and with minimal intervention in the cellar so that the wine expresses its personality. They make stock from native yeasts.

      To compensate for climatic hazards, diseases and/or parasites, they use biodynamic preparations and prepare herbal teas, manure and plant decoctions.

      The biodynamic calendar and the lunar cycles are also an important factor for the management of the vines, pruning, work in the cellar, bottling, harvest… Once the harvest is over, it is time for the sheep and the semi-covering. plants (legumes, cruciferous crops and cereals) which allow the soil to regenerate and restructure.

      They offer tours of the winery and vineyards by appointment.
