Bordatto Estate Basque discovery near Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port

Domaine Bordatto consists of 2.5 hectares of vineyards and 4 hectares of orchards (local apple varieties).

The entire estate is farmed organically.

The vineyards: 1ha in AOP Irouléguy and 1.5ha in Vin de Pays which produce 4 different cuvées depending on the plots, terroirs and vintages.

The orchards, with 42 old varieties of apples in AOC Euskal sagarnoa - Basque cider, show the richness and diversity of the fruits and terroirs through numerous vintages of cider and apple wine.

This work represents the Bordatto estate 's activism in favor of peasant agriculture, with living roots to better nourish and share its fruits!
