A family campsite with a relaxing atmosphere

Aire Ona (which means " good air " in Basque) is a simple and very well maintained 2-star campsite , installed on family land for several generations.

We come to Aire Ona with family or friends , to enjoy a rejuvenating holiday , together, feet in the grass and looking towards the Rhune which stands proudly on the horizon. The 75 grass pitches are spacious and accommodate caravans and tents. Bounded by trees with broad foliage, forming a beneficial shade in summer, the bare pitches are punctuated by 8 mobile homes for rent from June 26 and until September 12 (the pitches are rented in July and August only, remember to Reserve).

Ideal for hikers and cyclists

Camping Aire Ona is ideal for walkers , hikers and cyclists . The Basque Country is a great playground for endurance sports . Mountain bikers and road cycling practitioners are spoiled by that wind passes, valleys that occur, with only spectators cows and sheep. The hiking and mountain biking trails are at the foot of the campsite or less than a few minutes' drive away.

Ideally located, Aire Ona is just 5 km from Saint-Jean-de-Luz and its beautiful beaches . There is also Ciboure at 5 km and Hendaye at 7 km. To walk, eat an ice cream , in a good restaurant or enjoy a stroll in the old town and its half-timbered houses , it's very pleasant. You can even go there by bike if you are a bit sporty!

A campsite to meet

Camping Aire Ona offers a stay experience focused on relaxation and tranquility. Accompany the children to the playground facing the sunny mountains, play a game of table tennis with your tent neighbors, go for a walk . The driveways of the campsite are coated to facilitate maintenance and avoid the inconvenience of gravel or dust. Take off your shoes, grab a book, walk in the soft grass and enjoy the scenery . There is no swimming pool or entertainment, because all the hustle and bustle is easy to find outside the campsite: Calmness is a luxury that we come to Aire Ona for, during the summer!

The campsite is impeccably clean , the alleys are well maintained and you will appreciate the modern sanitary facilities , recently renovated, for washing dishes, preparing yourself and showering. The pitches are regularly mowed for everyone's comfort, with the discretion and consideration that characterize the owners of the campsite, always there to help you enjoy your stay in the Basque Country. Camping Aire Ona is located in the village of Urrugne, it is open from 27 June to 12 September (for rental) and from ¹ July to 31 August (for camping).
