This grand 16th-century Labourd house, nestled in the heart of a large garden bordered by a river, is located in Sare, one of the most beautiful villages in France and the Basque Country. Whether you're stopping for a meal in our restaurant or a longer stay in our guest rooms, you can enjoy the peace and hospitality of this place.

Olhabidea guesthouse invites you to stay in its guest rooms. If you choose to spend a few days with us, you won't be disappointed.
Here there is no television but a large library, a fireplace corner and a beautiful garden for moments of calm and tranquility.

Fruits, Flowers, Peonies, Iris or Petite Bleue – the five guest rooms, designed down to the smallest detail by Anne Marie, are as comfortable as can be. Each room has a unique decor, and each offers a bucolic view of the garden bordered by a river to the south.

Pioneers in guest houses in the Basque Country, Guillaume and Jean's parents opened the doors of their beautiful home more than 20 years ago, and their sons have continued this adventure in the same spirit: it's intimate, cozy, a bit like home.

Open until the end of November. Open for the Christmas holidays. Reopening mid-February for Valentine's Day.
