  The owner speaks Spanish. He is very helpful and explains everything very well. The house is beautiful with spectacular views that you can enjoy all day long. Breakfasts usually consist of fruit, French pastries (butter), toast with butter and jam as well as coffee with milk (you won't go hungry either way). You have a refrigerator and microwave that is shared with the guests of the other 2 rooms. The TV is shared and is in the living room of the house. At least we didn't need it. The place is quiet, without much noise. In summer, in the evening it gets cold and you may need a cardigan (which is appreciated). The only “but” I could say is that the beds are spring-loaded and tend to stick if you stay in the same position for a while (if the mattress had been made of memory foam it would have been “touching the sky”). The stairs are made of wood and creak, so if other guests arrive at dawn you may hear them, but it can't be said to be really annoying as the house only has 3 rooms. In general I give it a 9 out of 10. I would repeat without hesitation.

  This picturesque guesthouse allowed us to discover a magnificent region as well as the charming village of Sare, about a twenty-minute walk away. The welcome is impeccable, and the breakfast is on par with a Michelin-starred hotel. Only fresh, homemade products. The rooms are indeed not very soundproofed, but that's to be expected in a historic building like this. The rate is reasonable for a summer period. A relaxing and rejuvenating stay!
