  Very disappointed. The mobile home was old and poorly equipped, with no hot water in the kitchen sink...not practical for washing dishes. We reported this on the second day and are still waiting...quite dirty, especially the shower with its black grout and hair, in short... The pitch was in full sun, I can only imagine what it's like in July/August with a terrace facing the neighbor, offering complete privacy. A major drawback is the noise...the campsite is next to the Biarritz airport runway, and it's very busy. I was surprised, but there are huge Airbuses and it starts at 6:30 am... There's a road separating the pitches, which is also very busy and noisy early in the morning because it's part of a commercial and industrial area...the traffic is heavy. The pool area is nice, with a playground, pétanque court, etc...up to the standards of a 4-star campsite. I couldn't judge the entertainment, which is normal in April, but I don't see where it could be located given the limited space.

  We had reserved and paid via 'Campercontact'. Upon arrival, they said I hadn't paid yet. I demonstrated in various ways that I had paid (2 different emails and my banking app). Nevertheless, they wrote down my details again to contact me the next day if they couldn't find my payment. That doesn't exactly make you feel welcome. Eventually, we were allowed to drive up. The passage was very narrow for a longer camper (7.5m), and we couldn't level the spot we were given with blocks either. In the evening and at night, there was quite a lot of noise from teenagers who didn't care about the other guests at all.

  The mobile home was perfect. The reception staff were fantastic: thanks Bénédicte! Only downside: the outdoor pool was too cold, and that's coming from someone from the North of France.
