  Lovely camp site. Basic restaurant but excellent facilities. Pitches are good. Short walk to nearby restaurant. No such beach as it’s all rocks but interesting walk. Winter price 29 euro for 7.5 mtrs motor home.

  Incredible view, great place to visit nice places like San Sebastian & Bilbao. Awesome hiking trails close by. Surfing: 441 stairs and you are right on the beach. And yes, the plots are not really big - but hey, that is also the charm of camping - be creative & practical (otherwise we should have taken a hotel room = half the fun ;-)). Improvement could be the camping store - that is quite minimalistic. All in all - great place for a holiday!

  We have visited this campsite a couple of times already and it is still great in general. The location is awesome for surfing (although you have to take the 400 steps down to the beach and up again, but I consider this warmup), the sanitary facilities are in good shape and clean, showers are hot and there is bread in the morning so you don't starve. But I have to update my previous, very positive comment on the restaurant. This year, the service was really bad (or: non-existent) and the quality of the food has also dropped significantly. And that is a shame as both has been way better in the past. Might be the chef changed or management changed or they are understaffed but from a customers perspective, the results are sad, especially for returning guests. Hope it gets better next time we visit Zarautz which we will as the campsite itself is great (just to make sure everybody got that).
