It is in Zarautz, Gipuzkoa , in the incredible center of Marmarra, that this extraordinary organization is located, which protects the pastoral heritage of the Iberian Peninsula and preserves pastures. Far from being a simple beef cattle farm, the Foundation, born from the Gesalaga Okelan group, is the very temple of the preservation of native breeds raised with the greatest respect for the animal and its well-being. Every day, qualified teams give their best to maintain the memory of the past through breeding traditions, while promoting sustainable innovation so that the passion for meat remains intact, generation after generation.


Between knowledge and pleasure: a unique day

The Okelan Foundation offers a 6-hour immersion into the world of meat, designed for both meat lovers and professionals. From the origins to the tasting, you will experience a true sensory journey to discover the history, the terroir, and your palate. An experience that will take you from the field to the grill, combining respect for the animal, technique, and flavor.


A farm with 600 years of history

The experience begins at the Marmarra facility, where you will learn the essentials of meat : its maturation, the degree of infiltration, the importance of fat... Then, you will enter a historic farm, more than six centuries old, which will allow you to understand how traditional farms work. Come and meet native breed cattle and discover firsthand the values of respectful and sustainable agriculture.

An unforgettable tasting: 15 food and wine pairings

After the tour, a veritable feast awaits you : a tasting of 15 carefully prepared dishes, accompanied by selected wines. Each bite pays homage to the products, the terroir, and the chefs' expertise. A symphony of flavors where meat takes center stage.
