    • In the heart of the Basque Country, in the village of Ainhoa, ranked among the most beautiful villages in France, Maison Oppoca**** is a former post house from the 17th century. Our hotel is made up of 10 rooms and 2 apartments which have retained a beautiful exposed framework and magnificent beams.

      From the rooms, you have a view, on one side of Mount Atsulai and the chapel of Notre Dame de l'Aubépine, and on the other of the pediment of the village and the summit of the Rhune.

    This is definitely your best option if you happen to be in Ainhoa. High mark for service, cleanliness, efficiency and friendliness. Cozy and well located place. Fantastic rooms. Breakfast ok, service ok, and the tables outside in the terrace great as well. A special mention to the lady in the reception. She was so helpful in everything, she found a great pizza restaurant late at night, 15km away, for us to have dinner, and literally saved our lives. And best of all: PET FRIENDLY !!!!. A great option in Ainhoa should you ever found yourself sometime there.

    Surprisingly great little find for a really good lunch experience where the friendliness and expertise of the staff is evident. Food was exactly as it should be and Basque specialties. We will definitely return.
